There is no Planet B.

…today and everyday we fight for our Earth that lives and breathes for us to do the same…

NYC Climate Strike (2019)

Fighting for Sustainability has always been a part of my life. From the fourth grade when I grew my own garden full of fruits, vegetables, and herbs, because I wanted my family to eat locally (see pic below), I knew I had a calling to fight for Her.

Since my gardening days, I’ve taken my green thumb and continued to harness my knowledge base, went plant-based at the age of 13, and started advocating when and where I could. I led beach sweeps, community clean ups, tree planting ceremonies, fought for building efficiency in new construction, encouraged green initiatives within my friends and family, and attended local protests.

In my senior year of college, I completed my Honors Capstone Thesis on “Plant Based diets in dancers” conducting a 6-month research experiment evaluating strength, stamina, and general well being in plant-based versus non plant-based subjects.

Alongside my time at Rider, I also worked in the Office of Sustainability as an Eco-Representative and Leader of the campus’ Green Team. As a theatre professional and a sustainability enthusiast, one of my biggest accomplishments was pioneering the opening of a Broadway Green Alliance chapter on campus and leading them through their first year.
