Hi There!

Ashlyn was raised in the music capital of the world, Austin, Texas, where she was surrounded by art from a young age. She started as a flag football player, but when she turned into the only recipient of the award “spin of the week”, she knew the pirouettes were calling. She then starred as a bird girl in her very first production, Suessical, and the rest is history!

After nearly a decade of studying classical ballet with American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey, Ballet Austin, and more, she decided to pivot her career and laced up the LaDucas.

As an Andrew J. Rider Scholar, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rider University with a BFA in Musical Theatre, a minor in Movement Science, and continuing studies in Health Sciences, otherwise known as a mouthful and a woman in STEM. Since hitting the city, she has become a certified Yoga instructor (200 hr RYT), and studied mixology with some of NYCs most seasoned bartenders.

If she’s not on the stage, she’s definitely getting a vinyasa flow in, or out celebrating her friends in drag and trying new plant-based foods.

Some of her favorite things are the color Chartreuse, Pho soup, mimosas at brunch, anything Ann Reinking, and vintage finds!
